Jason Peavey

Jason Peavey is a co-founder and co-owner of PV Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, the Atlanta company he started with his brothers David and Joe in 2008 around one idea: treat home comfort as a science, not a sales pitch. Seventeen years later, that idea has a registered name, The Science of Comfort®, and a track record: a Carrier President's Award operation ranked in the top 1% of dealers nationwide, a BPI-certified home performance team, and recognition as a Georgia Power HEIP Affiliated Installer.

Jason has spent the last several years deep in Georgia's home energy rebate programs. PV advised the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority as it built the HER and HEAR programs, served as an approved contractor from the pilot forward, and has filed more than 700 state rebate applications for Georgia homeowners, more than any contractor in the state. When Jason writes about heat pumps, rebates, or building science, it comes from that front row seat.

A University of Georgia alumnus and graduate of Leadership DeKalb, Jason was named to the Conditioned Air Association of Georgia's "20 Under 40" in 2024. He lives and works in the Atlanta area PV has served since day one.
